Free Calls to the USA for Independence Day

International call provider Localphone is celebrating the Fourth of July, Independence Day, by giving away free calls to the USA for two days.  Calls to landlines and mobiles in the USA will be free from 12pm (noon) GMT 3rd July until 12pm (noon) GMT 5th July.  Customers can call for as long as they want, to as many numbers as they want and Localphone won’t charge them.  The offer is available to all Localphone customers worldwide and calls can be made from an existing mobile phone, landline or computer.  After the promotion ends, calls to the USA will be charged at the normal Localphone rate from 0.4p GBP / 0.5¢ USD or 0.4c EUR per minute.

Founder and CEO of Localphone, Paul Cusack, commented, ‘Celebrate Independence Day with your friends and family by calling them for free! We hope our customers enjoy this offer and wish them a happy Fourth of July.’

Non-Localphone customers can still take advantage of the offer by signing up to Localphone.com for free.  They simply need to provide their name, location, phone number and email address and they will be able to start calling straight away. Find out how to make free calls to the USA.

Localphone was founded in 2007 by entrepreneur Paul Cusack and is headquartered in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The company has quickly grown to become one of the world’s leading providers of cheap international calls and was recently awarded Highly Commended for Best Consumer VoIP in the ITSPA Awards 2012. The call rates are a true reflection on the company motto, ‘Call global, pay local’ with calls costing from just 0.5¢ per minute; customers really do pay local prices to call internationally.
