Because this year’s Show coincides with the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in America, which cost the lives of so many emergency services personnel, there will be a memorial balloon launch during the afternoon to pay tribute to the fallen. A total of 911 balloons will be released, with members of the public able to purchase tags and add their own messages.

The Mayflower Steps on Plymouth’s historic Barbican will be the site of a short memorial service with the Lord Mayor of Plymouth. This will be an all inclusive event and everyone is welcome to attend – No matter your race or religion you will be made welcome.
